Hi, I'm Maria!

I'm a PhD in Telecoms and Co-Founder of Weaver Labs, a Tech Start-up innovating in the telecoms industry. I was selected one of the 20 Women to Watch in Telecoms 2022 and shortlisted Entrepreneur of the Year 2022.

I'm passionate about technology and telecoms and love building things, bringing crazy ideas to reality. I've been doing this first from King's College London and now from Weaver Labs.

I'm curious to see where technology can improve society and the industry and over the last 8 years I've led projects and teams working on connectivity solutions to solve real-life problems: from transmitting the sense of touch while teleoperating, to improving productivity in cities using AI, to connecting musicians around the globe to improve the experience of a live concert.

Building Weaver Labs has been my passion for the last 4 years. My mission is to deliver connectivity that's easy to be consumed, so we can use more of it to unlock all the cool things technology can do for us!
